HOW TO WEAR YOUR CHANEL BAG WITH YOUR CLICKCHAIN

Welcome to my first blog that will actually give you some valuable information ;-)

I wanted to discuss the ways you can wear your CLICKCHAIN top handles as you might be thinking, hmmm .... How can this chain fit in with my fashion lifestyle?

First things first if you don't already have a CLICKCHAIN please take advantage of our discount for first time buyers, its on the homepage banner click here

So to make this clear CLICKCHAIN top handles are functioning handbag chains to carry your bag or small accessories. There is a limit to their carrying weight so please be reasonable with the fill of your bag. If you have a handbag that only has a crossbody strap or missing a top-handle then this is where our chains are invaluable.

Some background info; my real love of handbags started when I moved to London late 2010 and was able to browse all the beautiful shops full of amazing designs, colours and styles. I was already a bag lover but being in the capital just catapulted that desire for more bags, of the luxury variety.

What I have found as the years have gone by is I am drawn to handbags that have multiple strap length options. So for example a crossbody and also a top-handle on one bag, like the Chanel Trendy for reference. So then I find I have been avoiding all the lovely older bags I have, without these conveniences, but still not wanting to sell them or get rid of them. Hence the creation of CLICKCHAIN.

My CLICKCHAIN's enabled me to add that extra grab handle I was looking for on all the other bags. Plus with the variety of colours and metal hardware options, I could add a coloured chain to a bag that didn't necessarily go with my outfit. By matching the chain with my look, that bag now worked! This has been so great for past season bags or handbags that might have been a bit of a fad at the time. Being able to pull the look together through the chain and accessories meant all these 'surplus' bags all of a sudden became relevant. Bingo, my bank account loves me again...

I have only really started to think about my footprint on the earth and reading more about sustainability and up-cycling my wardrobe in recent times. My chains enable me to re-use rather than discard older pieces and that certainly makes me feel a tad better about my shopping habits.

So how do you wear your CLICKCHAIN ?

1. Attach the metal spring gate to your bags current strap loops, watch

2. Clip the spring gate through the current link chain at the location that is suitable for the bag size. E.g. this would be good on a Chanel WOC (wallet on a chain) or the Chanel Classic Flap range.

3. Connect to your keys or small purses/wallets, here

Now if you're not sure about the size of chain you want or the clip size you need, please do get in touch as we can create bespoke chains to your exact specifications.

Where your bespoke chain design matches or is similar in design to anything we already have we will match that price so you are not overcharged for the privilege :-)

Next blog post I will talk you through the chain sizes and what bags would be suitable for each of the chain lengths.

In the mean time Happy Shopping
